PLAZA INDONESIA MEN FASHION WEEK 2018 DAY-2

The second day at Plaza Indonesia Men Fashion Week 2018 was filled with fall-winter clothing collections from top brands such as Marks & Spencer, Canali, and Diesel. And of course, Marks & Spencers and Canali also showcases their formal clothing collections like suits. The photos above are some fall-winter collection from Canali.

If I remember the PIMFW 2018 performance on the second day, actually I was a bit disappointed. Not because of the clothes they showcased, but the shoes they use didn't seem to fit the LED catwalk. As we all knew that PIMFW this time chose Pedro as a shoes official partner. But unfortunately, on the second day of the show it seems like these male models didn't feel comfortable with the shoes they wore. It was obvious that the models had to walk carefully and even more, they seemed to walk in disjointed order to not slip. Yes! It looks like the shoes they wore were slippery if they rub against the LED floor. Even though shoes soles were made from rubber.

At first I thought that some of these models were walking strange because of their way of walking, hahaha. But it turns out that all models were walking in the same way, until there was a moment some of them refrained from slipping. Then I knew that the shoes were really slippery.

Actually I am also a Pedro shoe lover, because it has a good design. Some of my dress shoes, like derby shoes and oxford shoes are from Pedro. Seeing the incident, I remember that one of my oxford shoes was also very slippery, if the floor was a bit wet I could slip. And I really have to step like the model did. So I feel you guys! LOL.

But before continue to the runaway, I will first show you my OOTD for this PIMFW 2018. Hehe. So because formal wear will runaway on PIMFW Day-2, I also use a formal wear. By combining linen shirts from Uniqlo Indonesia and blazer suits from H&M, I feel like Oppa-Oppa Korea. Hahaha. There is a little trick for the pants, so actually this isn't a cropped pants, but I roll it in to make it shorter. Well, this can be a trick for you too. My purpose is just to be looked taller and my loafers can be more standout. My Loafer is still the same as what I used on the first day, is a local brand from Bandung, the brand is Toods Footwear. Then the clutch I used was from VIP Plaza Indonesia.

MARKS & SPENCER

Marks & Spencer (M&S) was established in 1884 by Michael Marks. Originally from England, now the retail stores have spread to 30 countries. In Indonesia, the M&S official store already exists in some big cities like Jakarta, Bali, Bandung, Bekasi, Tangerang, Medan, and Surabaya.

Opened with a raincoat collection showcase, M&S had made the PIMFW 2018 guests more curious about the other collections. Look at the collection of raincoats that are very adorable in the photo below.

Overall I like these M&S collections, especially the fall & winter coats that they showcased have a simple and elegant impression, with colors that tend to be calm like fall season.

CANALI

Emerging younger than Marks & Spencer, Canali was first established in 1934 by Giacomo Canali and Giovanni Canali as a family business from Italy. The retail stores have spread throughout the world and is known as one of the luxury clothing brands.

Luxury brand are no kidding guys, when they showcase their first cloth in PIMFW 2018 I was immediately mesmerized. I work in a company that requires formal wear, so when I see this runaway, I'm amazed.

This season Canali chose blue in his suit collections. In my opinion, this is good because seeing the men's market that starts to be brave in choosing colors, I think a blue suit will be a favorite next year. Especially when combined with brown dress shoes, so elegant right? Hehe.

In addition to full suits, they also display their outwear collections such as knitwear and leather jacket. It's a complete choice for men who want smart casual and manly look.

DIESEL

This one, I don't understand anymore, TOO COOL! Oh my God, the collection makes me want to go on stage and bring the clothes home!

Okay before to the runaway collection, I will tell you a little about Diesel, so Diesel is also a brand from Italy. Unlike the two previous brands that are more formal wear, Diesel sells men's clothing that is more casual and sporty, such as denim, shirts, shoes, and other accessories. Even younger than Marks & Specer and Canali, Diesel was established in 1978.

Are you curious enough with their clothes? Let's peek a little.

The item that became the center of attention this season was their SUPER SUPER COOL outwear. I love the collection of their bomber jackets with interesting patches. And the one I also like is the army jacket that Charles worn in photo No. 27 below.
